As climate change starts to pose a bigger threat for humanity, the global community looks to mitigate the risks by exploring the possibilities of other fuels such as solar, wind, geothermal and hydro. While these clean fuels are the ultimate end goal, their current supply capability does not meet the demands of many.
Natural gas has been around for decades and has been a source of safe, reliable and cleaner energy (estimates suggest that natural gas produces half the emissions that coal produces). Today as the world looks for new ways to switch to cleaner energy, natural gas has the unique capability to help bridge the gap between fossil fuels and renewable energy.
While many support this theory, many others suggest that the dependence on natural gas will lead us away from the ultimate goal of clean energy.
