We participated in PLASTINDIA 2015, India’s Largest plastic related exhibition and exhibited the potential of GAIL when it comes to polymers and other plastic based products.
- We have a 410,000 TPA Gas Cracker and 3 downstream units to produce HDPE & LLDPE at pata (U.P):- 2×1,00,000TPA Mitsui slurry dedicated HDPE, 1X2,10,000 TPA nova solution swing plant
- Doubling the capacity of the petrochemical plant at Pata to 8,10,000 TPA. The new plant being setup at Pata is a swing plant from Univation.
- 70% equity in Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymers Ltd. (BCPL) to set up a 280,000TPA capacity petrochemicals plant in Lepetkata (Dibrugarh) Assam
- 15.5% equity and 37% Marketing rights in OPal which is setting up a 1.4 million TPA petrochemical plant at Dahej, Gujarat.
With our polymer marketing volumes available to GAIL expected to quadruple from 0.41 MMTPA to 1.64 MMTPA within the next two years, Plastindia 2015 provided a unique opportunity to GAIL to reach out to domestic and international community of plastic processors and traders.
