Hon’ble MoS, P&NG (I/C) Shri Dharmendra Pradhan reviews GAIL’s operations and maintenance and security control centre
Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Pradhan today reviewed the pipeline operations and maintenance network of GAIL (India) Limited during a visit to the Company’s National Gas Management Centre set up here.
Shri Pradhan also reviewed GAIL’s Security Command and Control Centre activities, through CCTV and line walk system. Present on the occasion were Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri K D Tripathi, GAIL Chairman and Managing Director Shri B C Tripathi, Joint Secretary, MoPNG Shri Ashish Chatterjee, GAIL Director (Human Resources) Shri M Ravindran, Director (Projects) Dr Ashutosh Karnatak, Director (Finance and Acting Director Marketing) Shri Subir Purkayastha and senior officials of GAIL.
GAIL owns and operates more than 11,000 km of high press cross-country pipelines along with more than 2,000 km long LPG pipeline in the country.
The Minister was given detailed presentations regarding GAIL, the gas pipeline journey from India’s perspective and proposed CNG highways.
