We believe in providing value beyond business. Designing a sustainable growth corridor that benefits people and the nation in myriad ways has been our objective for the past 25 years. And here’s yet another project named Kochi-Kanjirakode-Bangalore-Mangalore Pipeline (KKBMPL) that is being implemented to make a positive difference. Through this project, we aim to reach out to parts of Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts to make them more self-reliant in terms of energy. From industries to households, at GAIL, we believe in designing a prosperous future for everyone through sustainable growth and prudent use of resources.
We have always taken full responsibility for each of our projects and this is true for nearly 10000 kms of underground pipelines that have been successfully laid by us so far in predominantly agricultural land. At the time of project implementation, a strip of land is temporarily acquired by us for Right of Use (RoU) which is immediately returned to the owner after completion of the project. We wish to convey that land doesn’t lose its agricultural productivity due to laying of pipeline and at GAIL, we provide adequate compensation for any agricultural losses borne by the landowners or farmers. We’ve always done our best to protect the interests of people in all our endeavours and will continue to do so in the future.
Our objective is to reach the remotest parts of the country and make them energy sufficient, thus empowering the nation for an energy-efficient tomorrow.
