Prime minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh emphasized on the cleaner alternative and stated natural gas as the “fuel of choice”. At the 8th Asia Gas Partnership Summit, New Delhi, P.M. in his inaugural speech said “Natural gas, as we all know, is the fuel of choice today. It is an efficient fuel for power generation. As a cleaner alternative for vehicles, it reduces air-pollution and leads to an improved quality of life.”
