Shale gas rise as an opportunity to fight global warming. UN’s latest study suggests that the green house gas emissions have rose to alarming levels.
A report from Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change (IPCC) suggested that the global temperature would rise to about 3-5 degrees by the end of century.
The report also said that the share of energy from low carbon sources would hike by 3 or 4 times by 2050.
Shale gas produces very low amount of carbon and can be a consistent weapon to fight global warming.
