Remya comes from a humble background and the idea struck while doing the laundry with bare hands as her family could not afford a regular washing machine. So instead of mourning over the washing machine that wasn’t present she and her twin sister decided ease of the chore of the laundry and finally fix the solution for good.

Remya’s washing machine is even simpler than that of a conventional washing machine. The model consists of an aluminium cabin equipped with horizontal cylinders made from iron net. The cylinder is adhered to a pedaling system of a Tyre less  cycle model. The process of the cycle laundry starts with filling the cabin with clothes water and detergent powder. As the person pedals the model, the cylinder rotates at a high speed, cleaning the clothes inside it. Due to pedaling the clothes are centrifuged and are almost dried as well.
