Orlando is ready with its first natural gas stations to fuel public vehicles. Recent studies has shown that natural gas when used for highway transportation saves 40% of the fuel cost. This has inspired companies like Frito lays to adopt natural gas as their primary transportation fuel. Gas traders are laying new stations near these big companies on the basis of the huge demands for the natural gas.

With the brimming shale gas deposits, America has shifted from being the biggest importer to the biggest gas exporter. It is all set to harness the deposits to the maximal. This can be seen with the increasing number of gas stations and expansion of LNG infrastructure in the country. Including the new opened stations in Orlando, today there 12 stations in Florida and a total 672 in U.S.
