The Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dr. Veerappa Moily will address the participants during the Theme Session “Asian Gas Market: Challenges & Opportunities in the Changing Paradigm” of the 8th AGPS, on December 3, 2013.
Since 2003, the year of inception of AGPS, all editions of the Conference, have hosted the Indian cabinet Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas at the opening session. In 2012, speaking on the occasion of 7th AGPS, Shri S. Jaipal Reddy, the then Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, said, , “The Government has laid out investor-friendly policies such as 100 percent FDI in exploration, marketing infrastructure, pipelines and regassification facilities that make India a great investment destination. India also seeks long-term partnerships with countries and companies in the gas business”
