According to a new study, the usage of Natural Gas fuelled vehicles is expected to doubled over the next decade. The figure is estimated to reach 39.8 million. The market in China and Europe is predicted to bloom prominently whereas the American market may also see a significant rise in the sales volume as a result of the lower natgas prices in the states.
The infrastructure and the fuelling stations will also eventually double in North America by 2023. This will propagate the production and sale of almost 138,177 new Natgas vehicles. However, with the kind of aggressive growth that is predicted in Asia Pacafic the market development in rest of the world would appear miniscule.
In the present scenario, countries with maximum number of natural gas vehicles are mostly the developing countries that have either switched to natural gas because of the rich endowments of the clean source of fuel such as Pakistan and Iran; or had to choose the same because of the rising pressure of environmental issues such as India and China.
