The Aqua Gun

The fertile land of India is not blessed adequate farming technologies and capital to justify the productivity. However the farmers of the nation refuse to comply to the disadvantage.

A 72 year old prolific innovator and an enterprising farmer Annasaheb solved the problem of high priced sprinkler with his innovative design of rotor sprinkler system that could cover a radius of 140 feet. He named his innovation after a hindu mythological goddess Chandra Prabha; and that is how the Chandra Prabha rotor sprinkler: the Rain Gun was invented. The system basically is a sprinkler where the moving discharge, the deflector as well as the nozzle assembly are separately driven by individual gear connections which is then connected to the transmission. The model can irrigate a field for an hour and a half. The stream being discharged is very strong and also washes away pests without physically damaging the plants.
